“The mission of the New Salem Economic Development Corporation is to help create opportunities for economic development in New Salem and Morton County through business growth, expansion, retention, and attraction and in working as partners to develop a climate conducive to maintaining the quality of life in the New Salem Area.”

The New Salem Economic Development Corporation is made up of the following individuals: Gaylen Lennick , Rocky Rapsavage, Bob Gaebe, Allan Tellmann, Scott Jaeger, Gregor Boreen, Rusty Gilstad and Bob Owens.

 

The City of New Salem currently offers the following tax incentives for New Salem residents and business owners.  If you have any questions or if you would like an application, please contact the Morton County Tax Equalization Office at 667-3325.  All applications will need to be presented to the City Council for approval.
